A lot of bollocks being said here. We would have drawn and maybe have won with Fabianski in goal. It’s will be very painful, but we have to wait for Fabianski to come back before things improve. It will be crap season, but we will not go down and we should definitely stay with Pellegrini.

Alan Shearer just annihilated ius for a lack of effort on MOTD. The old fraud is being shown up.

Can't say I disagree with of much of what you say.Its time for us to appoint a British manager who knows how to get the best out of players and be merciless with foreign ponces.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Too many players not giving a fuck and lacking any effort. Haller, Anderson, and Yamo being the worst of the lot...ironically our most expensive. Absolute cunts in my book when it comes to not even trying.

Most of our British players on the overhand seemed to care and come away with some credit today.

A good case for having a mainly british squad. Don't mind having the odd foreigner but way too many over the years have proven to not give a fuck.

Why Pellegreni insits on persisting with Roberto is a joke. He's clearly not a great keeper on a good day but lacking confidence we have entered McNightmare territory!!

Another with their confidence shot to pieces is Fredricks...needs dropping for his own sake.

Dire times indeed.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
So since the OAP deliberately threw the Oxford game we've amasses 2 points from 21. Thats not just relegation form, it's cast adrift at the bottom of the table form.

JFK - in answer to your request all I can say is we remove the manager immediately and replace him with an English/British boss. The longer he's here the more perilous our position becomes.

In terms who would replace him, well I'd like to see the Cowley's here but I think it's just a bit too soon. I'd be very happy for us to try and tempt Eddie Howe but it looks as though he likes the comfort of Bournemouth too much.
Otherwise, and I've said this before and been roundly mocked, I'd have Moyes back. I think he's a proper manager who would not put up with the garbage from too many at the moment. But the owners wouldn't admit to their mistake in letting him go and the rumours are that Everton are considering him to replace Silva.

A ref who books players for being fouled might well be called a prick.

To have a chance against Chelsea, we need Antonio to be fit enough to play from the start, and a change of keeper. If we've got a keeper who's an improvement on Roberto. If Roberto is starting in front of Martin on merit, we are fucked.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Antonio was the only positive, Rice did well, saved to certain goals. Noble and Snodders put a shift in.

When pellagrini was appointed I was happy enough to see a manager with form manage us,it's looking fairly obvious now the attraction for him was financial.its highly unlikely he'll turn things around.I along with many others are probably wrong in being optimistic about him.
My immediate concern is how we avoid another relegation battle your suggestions would be appreciated.
All I've ever asked is for the players to put in a shift,if we lose so be it.
Until Antonio (who led by example) came on most of our players didn't want to know, regardless of the manager the players should show some pride in their profession(at Upton Park they could hear the crowd bollockin them)but it appears nowadays their inflated "wages"is all they care about.
I'm getting to the point after 50 years I should do something else weekends.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Antonio had a spell for us where he was awful and massively uninterested. He needed to either sort his life out or move on. Fortunately for us he decided to knuckle down and return to the player we knew he could be.

During that spell of poor form and attitude he was rightly slagged off though. I think he got a huge kick up the arse and, credit to him, has worked his nuts off to get back to his best form.

I should point out before people get excited that when I say the crowd was poor I mean in terms of numbers solely. No one can blame fans for not being enthusiastic about the current state of affairs.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Master,

Yes the crowd was poor right up to kick off. I'm sure the timing didn't help but I felt for James Collins who came out with his daughter with about ten minutes to go. I'm sure most of us have heard/ read about him saying recently how he was sad he had missed out on the chance to say goodbye properly but had now been invited back, and/or remember Noble at the final game of 2017/18 telling the crowd how they all hoped something could be worked out. So it turns out that today was his big moment to see amends made and it was a brief pitchside chat in front of a few thousand people with a polite smattering of applause.

The whole club just has a depressing feel about it right now. Worse than for a while arguably.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Yes I also said the same Master.

I was early and couldn’t help but notice their half of pitch covered in cones etc

Spurs were out about 15 mins before us aswel

Waited to see what we did and our coach walked out with a bag of balls . That was it . Bit of stretching and passing. Sunday morning stuff

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Spurs - The Official Match Thread
Fucking hell, my nephew just sent me a picture he took before the match started.

Only about 5k fans in the stadium.

One half of the pitch is covered in zones marked out by cones and tape. Players all around going through their paces and coaches everywhere delivering instructions.

Other half of the pitch empty bar a keeper standing next to an empty goal, nobody seems to be shooting though, and a lone player 45 yards away doing kicks ups. Rest of the pitch is totally empty.

Guess which side had which half.

Perhaps? Is that a feeble admittance that you were wrong.

Your type make me laugh. You just hate it when others are shown to have been right all along. I said I from the start that I didn't want him and that I'd give Moyes another year or two and was slaughtered.
I said when he allowed us to be humiliated by Wimbledon that he should be fired. For this I was slaughtered.

Idiots like you kept telling me that we were lucky to have such a manager. I said he was only here for the money and was past it. For this I was slaughtered.

So excuse me if I, like Rochester, take the opportunity to point out that we were right and you and many others were wrong.

p.s. If anyone can shut that retard vexed up you'd be doing everyone a huge favour.
